Try our homemade, sweet, and garlicky Skinless Longganisa.

Skinless Longganisa is a type of Filipino sausage without the casing. What’s good about this recipe is it has no preservatives. I love garlic so I put a lot in this recipe. The white sugar added sweetness into it. This is best eaten at breakfast with fried rice and a fried egg, thus, the word Longsilog is formed. (longganisa, sinangag (fried rice), and itlog (fried egg).

Share this recipe with your family and friends. You will all love it!

Ingredients:
* 500 grams ground pork (preferably with more fat)
* 2 Tbsp soy sauce
* 2 Tbsp water
* 1 Tbsp vinegar
* 2 tsp salt
* 2 tsp ground black pepper
* 8 garlic cloves, minced (you can add more)
* 2 tsp sweet paprika
* 2 Tbsp cornstarch
* 1/4 cup white sugar

Procedure;
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
2. It’s best to keep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before wrapping.
3. Use cling film to wrap – put a spoonful at the center, shape into a log, roll and wrap, twisting both ends to seal.
4. Repeat the process until the pork mixture is consumed.
5. Put in a container and keep in the freezer overnight.
6. To cook, let it simmer in water. When it has dried up, add cooking oil to fry.
7. Make Longsilog for breakfast – cook fried rice and egg.
8. Serve and Enjoy!
