I’ve been making beer and wine for years but had never tried distilling alcohol to make spirits. Palinka is a traditional Hungarian drink normally around 50-55% alcohol, made usually from fruit such as apricot, apple, berries etc and even walnuts.
This is an Anglo-Magyar crossover variety – Rhubalinka!
It’s certainly unique and surprisingly good….
