ALL TIME FILIPINO FAVORITE! EASY TO MAKE! It is a tradition in Filipino culture to eat pancit on your birthday. The long noodles are good luck for a long life.
INGREDIENTS:
1/8 kg Adobo cut
5 pcs Squid balls
2 cloves Garlic
1/2 med Onions
1/2 med Red bellpepper
1/2 med Carrots
2 stalks Napa cabbage/ regular cabbage
1/4 kg Fresh miki noodles
1/2 cube Pork broth cube
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Liquid seasoning
1 cup Water
PROCEDURE:
1. Render the fats of the pork.
2. Saute aromatics in pork fat.
3. Add lean pork and season with broth cube, soy sauce,black pepper, paprika.
4. Add squid balls ,water and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Add vegetables and fresh miki, simmer 2 minutes.
6. Add leaves of napa cabbage, sliced spring onions and the liquid seasoning.
