Fried chicken, is a dish consisting of chicken pieces which have been coated in a seasoned batter and pan-fried, deep fried, or pressure fried. The breading adds a crisp coating or crust to the exterior of the chicken while retaining juices in the meat.
INGREDIENTS:
CHICKEN MARINATION:
Boneless Chicken Strips – 1 kg
Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Salt – 1/2 Tsp
Garlic Powder – 1 Tsp
Chicken Powder – 1 Tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1 Tsp
Vinegar – 1 Tsp
Hot Sauce (Sriracha) – 2 Tbsp
Mustard Paste – 1/2 Tsp
Cold Water – 1/2 Cup
DRY COATING:
Flour – 2 Cup
Paprika Powder – 1 Tbsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Garlic Powder – 1 Tbsp
Salt – 1 Tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1 Tsp
Chicken Powder – 1 Tsp
WET BATTER:
Flour – 1 Cup
Egg – 1
Carbonated Water / Club Soda – 1 Cup or more
Paprika Powder – 1 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Garlic Powder – 1 Tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1 Tsp
Salt – 1 Tsp
SAUCE:
Mayonnaise – 1/2 Cup
Peri Peri Sauce or Any Hot Sauce available – 1 Tbsp
Salt – A Pinch
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 Tsp or less
Oil For Frying!
