Here I share with you my children’s favourite dish. Hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients
500g of paneer
1 tbsp of oil
100g of butter
1 chopped big onion
1 inch minced ginger
6 minced garlic cloves
1/2 cup passata
2-3 green chillies
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp basaar (curry powder)
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 & 1/2 cup cream (you can reduce)
1 tsp fenugreek
Fresh coriander for garnishing
Method
1)Add the oil and butter into the pan on low heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté for a few minutes until golden ( I wasn’t meant to over do mine)
2)Add the minced garlic and ginger and sauté for several minutes until fragrant.
3)Add the green chilli and the rest of the spices like turmeric, paprika, chilli powder, coriander powder, curry powder/ basaar.
4)Cook the spices for literally 1-2 minutes on low heat.
5)Add the passata and keep on medium heat until the sauce reduces. Also add in the salt.
6)Add in the paneer and cook this for a good 10 minutes.
7)Pour in the cream and cook for a few minutes. Reduce the heat and cover the pan for 5-10 minutes.
8)Garnish with dried fenugreek and fresh coriander and serve with fresh chappati or naan.
