Nutrition and food science student Claire adds a delicious mix of spices to these protein-packed nuts. Quick, nutritious and cheap to make! The perfect student snack.
Ingredients:
2 cups mixed nuts
1 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp dried thyme
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl.
3. Pour coated nuts onto the tray and spread in an even layer.
4. Roast in the oven for 10-15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes to prevent the spices from burning.
5. Allow to cool completely.
