Quick and easy with few ingredients
You’ll need:
For the chicken legs: Goya seasoning, Sazon achiote powder, garlic or onion powder and some paprika if you have it.
Cook chicken on both sides with some oil for a few minutes until lightly browned
Add a chicken broth cube to the pot
Blend onion, a red or green pepper, a bunch of cilantro, garlic fresh or minced, add some water blend and add to the pot
Cook on low/medium heat for about half hour and add some water if needed it should cover about half way of the chicken. Turn the legs every so often
Squeeze in about half of the juice of an orange, and a splash of any beer you have on hand. This is what gives its unique taste don’t skip!
The liquid will thicken and turn to a gravy.
