Ingredients:
1 Kg Shrimp – no head & shell, deveined
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chilli powder
1 medium sized shallots – chopped
1 medium chunk of ginger – chopped
1 small whole garlic – chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
salt & pepper
Let’s Cook :
-Heat the pan OR a wide shallow pot with olive oil on medium hight heat.
-Add in chopped garlic, shallots and ginger.
-Saute’ until translucent and fragrant.
-Add in the three dry ingredients (garlic powder, paprika and chilli powder)
You can also add in a half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes if you want for added extra heat / spice.
-Stir and watch the dry ingredients closely because they tend to cook and burn too quickly, reduce the heat before you get to that ‘burning’ point 😉
-Add the main ingredient to the party–the SHRIMPS!
-Keep stirring it , don’t let the shrimps sit on the pan for too long, you gotta move them around, stir them up so they won’t end up like my shrimps! They were a little overcooked 😀
Garnish it with chopped up green / spring onions or parsley!
I didn’t have any greens in my fridge at that time so my dish came out flat, no garnish , no nothing. hahah 😀
I’m counting on you, make your version of this as yummy and as pretty as can be 😉
It’s Quick and Easy. Serve it on top of warm rice! Yum! Enjoy!
