Mageretta Homestyle Beef Stew

This is my Homestyle Beef Stew, our favorite comfort food at home which can be eaten with rice, bread or by itself. Beef stew recipe mostly using beef stock (homemade or store bought) but I’d use my own homestyle vegetable stock. You can make this stew with any cut of the meat and add in your personal choice of stock, vegetable and herbs of your choice.

Ingredients:
300grams Top sirloin beef roast, cut into big chunk (Personal preferences)
2-3 Tablespoon olive oil
Salt (To taste)
1 Bay leaf
½ Teaspoon black Pepper
½ Teaspoon smoke paprika (Optional)
¼ Teaspoon Rosemary (Optional)
¼ Teaspoon Thyme (Optional)
1 Big onion, diced
1 medium size carrot, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
2 medium size potatoes
3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
1 red bell pepper, diced (Optional)
1 green bell pepper, diced (Optional)
Homestyle vegetable stock (Can use store bought beef or vegetable stock)
*Could add thawed frozen green bean 1-2 mins before turn the stove off
