🖤Lemon Garlic Chicken🖤
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds total), pounded to 1/2-inch thickness
1/3 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (or dissolve 1chicken cubes into 2cups of boiling water)
1tsp Corn Starch
Marinade: (30mins or overnight)
1/3tsp Cayenne Powder
1/3tsp Paprika
1/3tsp Salt
1/3tsp Peper
1tsp Lemon Zest
1/2 Lemon Juice (3 tablespoon)
Procedure:
1. Place the chicken breast in a bowl, put cayenne powder, paprika, salt, pepper, lemon zest and lemon juice. Marinade the chicken at least 30 mins or over night for more flavor.
2. In a hot pan, put in oil (when hot) fry the chicken for about 3-5mins each side or until it starts to brown.
3. Put butter and garlic and let it sear for about 1-2 minutes.
4. Put the chicken broth and let it simmer for 5 minutes for each side.
5. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup of water and pour the mixture into the pan. Let is simmer for 6 mins.
