Instant Pot Mac and Cheese

Ingredients Required:
Pasta – 2 Cups
Water -2 Cups
Half&Half/Whole Milk -1 Cup
Sharp Cheddar Cheese -2 Cups
Butter -2 TBSP
Salt – As Required
Pepper – As Required
Paprika – 1/4 Tsp
PREP
1)Add pasta,water,salt and butter into the Instant Pot.
2) Press the pasta with spatula and make sure everything is soaked inside the water.
COOK
1) Close the Instant Pot.
2) Select/Dial In the Manual/Pressure cook mode, set the pressure “High”, timer to 5 minutes and start the IP. Once it cooks down, wait for 10 mins and then depressurize manually.
Funtion: Manual/Pressure Cook
Release: Manual Release after 10 mins
3) Open the IP. Mix everything and select “Saute” mode and click on Start. Add Half&Half or milk , salt, pepper, paprika, cheese and mix everything. Cancel the saute mode and close the Instant Pot.
4) Let it rest for 10 minutes at least, Cheese gets melted down in the retained heat and pasta will absorb the liquid. After 10 minutes open and serve it hot. Pasta will be very creamy.
SERVE
Transfer it to a bowl and top it with bread crumbs, more cheese and broil it for few minutes if you want. Serve it with bread and veggies.
STORE AND FREEZE:
Store it in the fridge for 2 days. Freeze it up to 3 months in the freezer. You can freeze it as a single servings, so that it is easy to thaw it.
