Hungarian food so called “Lecsó” (LEH-choh) with eggs. Kilátó Klubház, Budapest, Hungary.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons bacon grease or oil
5 medium onion, sliced thinly
2 pound green bell peppers
2 pound large very ripe tomatoes
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt (less if using sausage)
1 tablespoon sweet Hungarian paprika
1/2 pound frankfurter
Pack of 10 eggs
