I have a love and hate kind of relationship with Japanese food for many years. Anyhow, there are some Japanese food that I can make an exception such as UDON, SOBA and RAMEN. These noodles are simply tempting to eat either in a bowl of miso soup or in a hot wok with juicy seafood. My first love of Japanese food was Sashimi in 2010 . I’ve started to like Sashimi because of the freshness of the thinly sliced and served uncooked fishes. Who would have thought? I could eat raw fishes. Yes! Those raw fresh fishes ‘ Tuna And Salmon’ served with soy sauce , little pink pickled ginger and wasabi. Ouf! What a life! Not to forget, there is one delicious buffet spread “Japanese Steamboat” restaurant at the top floor of Pavilion ‘ Tokyo Street’ In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where was attracting me to love Japanese food more. Haha! Good times! So, today I am modifying the usual UDON’s style of cooking inspired by the feeling that I have mentioned earlier. This recipe will not only open your both eyes but also your heart to Japanese food as your tears roll down to your cheeks. It is not due to spiciness of Wasabi but you’ll see hahaha! Enjoy!
