Fun Fact:
Paella means “frying pan” in Valencian, Valencia’s regional language in Spain. Seafood paella also known as Paella marinera consists of fresh seafood ingredients like clams, prawns, mussels, and squid which gives it a taste of the ocean, a bit salty.
Filipinos learned to love paella having been colonized by Spain for centuries. And, since the staple food of Filipinos is rice the paella became one of the Filipino’s favorite “fiesta” dishes and is found in tables of Filipino families during such festive occasions. Enjoy the video!
