Hummus is an easy dip to make with few ingredients. In this video, you see three ways to make hummus.

Recipes:
You may use canned Garbanzo (chickpea) beans or cook from scratch. I use an Instant pot to cook garbanzo beans, which does not need soaking for hours. Just wash the beans, add into the instant pot and add 2inches over the top of beans. Cook for 40 min at beans/ high pressure setting. Drain the liquid and let it cool before you process it.

Classic Hummus
1 cup garbanzo beans cooked
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup olive oil + extra to drizzle
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 lemon
2 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp paprika

Add garbanzo beans and the rest of the ingredients in the food processor except for paprika and olive oil. Process to a smooth paste. Slowly add 1/4 cup of olive oil while process on low speed. Transfer into a plate and top with extra olive oil and sprinkle some paprika.

Hummus with roasted red bell pepper
1 cup garbanzo beans cooked
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup olive oil + extra to drizzle
1/2 of roasted red bell pepper + few small pieces of chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 lemon
2 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
Add garbanzo beans and the rest of the ingredients in the food processor except for olive oil. Process to a smooth paste. Slowly add 1/4 cup of olive oil while process on low speed. Transfer into a plate and top with extra olive oil and garnish with chopped red bell pepper and sprinkle some paprika.

Hummus with Avocado

1 avocado
1/2 lime
2 cloves of roasted garlic
1 chopped Jalapeno pepper
