🖤 Beef Salpicao 🖤
Ingredients:
• 1/2 sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
• 1/3 tsp salt and pepper
• 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon brown sugar
• 1/3 cayene
• 1/3 paprika
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 5 cloves garlic peeled and minced
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, season beef with salt and pepper to taste. Marinate for about 10 minutes.
2. In a small bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, paprika and cayene. Whisk together until sugar is dissolved and set aside.
3. In a wide, thick-bottomed pan over medium heat, add butter and oil.
4. When butter begins to melt, add garlic. Cook, stirring regularly, for about 1 minute or until garlic lightly browns.
5. Increase heat to high, stirring garlic continuously to prevent from burning. Make sure the an is very hot.
6. Add beef and spread across the pan. Allow to sear for about 1 to 2 minutes and then turn to sear on the other side.
7. Add mushroom and mix well.
8. Add Worcestershire-soy sauce mixture and continue to cook, stirring regularly, for about 25-30 minutes. Serve hot.
NOTES:
• Gradually add the Soy mixture to make sure you don’t put too many or depending on your preferences.
• If you prefer a super soft beef texture keep searing in a low fire until reach desired texture.
•If the sauce reduced just add 1/2 cup of water and taste to check if you need to adjust the flavor by adding salt or soy-sauce.
