Easy Hummus – healthy dip, better than buying in shops

Hummus is a dip, spread, or savoury dish made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. It is popular in the Middle East and in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe

1. If you have raw chickpeas. Leave it soaked in water over night and use pressure cooker to cook the chickpeas (better taste than the can chickpeas)
2. Tahini sauce – is made from Sesame seeds, Olive oil and Salt (we replaced it to make it easier)
3. If you find it hard to blend, add bit more water (note: add little by little, do not make the dip too watery)
4. For better taste do not add readymade lemon extract., fresh is better.

Ingredients:

Cooked chickpeas – 300 grams
Sesame seed – 3 tablespoon
Garlic – 1 or 2 clove
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Extra virgin olive oil – 60 ml
Salt. – to taste
Water – as required
Lemon – 1
Paprika – for dressing
