I tried out a homemade rub recipe on some chicken thighs I smoked indirect on the Weber Kettle. This is a POWERFUL Rub with lots of flavor !
Crack Rub:
2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup salt
4 tbsp smoked paprika
1 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground black pepper
lime zest or 2 tbsp lime juice
