Looking for a quick and easy way to make chicken breasts or chicken thighs? You’re in the right place. With this technique, your chicken will be nice and juicy and will be ready in just around 20 minutes. ⬇ RECIPE ⬇
STEP 1: Preparation
Take the chicken out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you start cooking so that it cooks evenly. If the steak is too thick, take a kitchen knife and cut it in half almost all the way through and then spread it out.
Next, let’s season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. Make sure to season it evenly and to your taste and don’t exaggerate.
IMPORTANT: Raw chicken can contain salmonella, so be sure to always wash your hands thoroughly after you’ve touched it.
STEP 2: Cooking
To cook our chicken, preheat the pan at high temperature. The pan should be very hot. To know when the pan is hot enough, just sprinkle some water on the pan with your fingers.
Add just a touch of oil, just enough that it covers the surface. If you place too much oil inside the pen, just pour it out.
Place the chicken in the pan still on high temperature. Make sure to place it onto the pan facing away from you to avoid the splashing of hot oil.vLet it cook anywhere from one to two minutes. Don’t move it around the pan. Just let it sit so until it’s nice and golden brown like this.
Next, turn the chicken and repeat the process for another one to two minutes. When the other side is nice and golden brown too, add some water, and reduce the heat to medium-high. This will keep our chicken fresh and juicy.
Continue cooking for about 7-10 minutes, until the water evaporates. If the water evaporates before that, don’t worry, just add a little extra water. You can take one chicken breast out of the pan and cut it in half. If it’s not ready yet, put it inside the pan and cook it a little longer.
When your chicken breast is ready take it out of the pan and let it rest for about five minutes before serving. If you want, chop some parsley and decorate your chicken.
Voila! Our chicken is ready. How was yours? Let us know in the comments below.
