This is Eech, ( pronounced… ee-t-ch ) can be eaten warm or cold, and itās even better the next day, so if you make some…make extra! Traditionally eaten with lettuce, or young fresh tangy grape leaves.
The popular traditional drink to accompany eech is Ayran. Itās an acquired taste, you can google AYRAN- or just wait for me to make a video soon!
I usually wing it – and not follow any recipe
So play with the measurements to your liking.
Eechā
*Medium / large onion
*Salt- pepper- red pepper ( or paprika)
*Lemons
*Burgul (#1 fine)
*Parsley (any you find)
*Scallions a couple or fresh onion
*tomato paste/ purƩe tomato can
*optional- diced red bell pepper, sautƩed
*water
____We normally donāt add bell peppers because we donāt like it cooked.
