What’s up people? It’s been a while since I’ve posted… on today’s menu we are having Vegan Birria Tacos. First time eating and making them…
Feel free to adjust the sauce seasonings, but mine are as follows:
2 California Chile’s and 2 New Mexico Chile’s (seeded and boiled until rehydrated)
NOTE: CANNED CHIPOTLE PEPPERS IN ADOBO SAUCE CAN BE USED AS WELL
-1/2 white onion roasted
-1 garlic clove minced and marinated in apple cider vinegar
-1 Tbsp ext virgin olive oil
– 2 peppercorns
– 2 cloves
– 1/8 tsp all spice
– 1/4 tsp oregano
– 1 tbsp smoked paprika
– 1 1/2 tbsp cumin
– 1/2 tsp thyme
– 1/4 tsp coriander
– 1 1/2 tbsp of nutritional yeast (opt)
– 1/4 cup of veg broth
– salt to taste
Shredded and Marinated Oyster Mushrooms
-a pinch of salt
-2 tsp oil
-1 1/4 tsp of apple cider vinegar
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/2 tsp cumin
-1/4 tsp onion powder
