A simple & quick Salmon recipe for seafood lovers.
Salmon is known for its nutritional values like protein, various vitamins and especially omega 3 fatty acids.
This salmon fry is very healthy as it needs very little oil as salmon itself is an oily fish.
I have also shared Cajun seasoning recipe which is super easy to make at home.

Cajun Seasoning:
I have used a teaspoon to measure all ingredients. You can use any regular spoon if you don’t have measuring spoons. Just take following mentioned ratio of all ingredients.

Smoke paprika – 2 tsp
Garlic powder – 2 tsp
Kosher salt – 1 tsp
Cayenne powder – 1 tsp
Onion powder – 1 tsp
Oregano – 1 tsp
Thyme – 3/4 tsp
Red chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp

Mix them together and store the mixture in an airtight container in some cold place.

Salmon preparation:
1. Take a salmon fillet, turn skin side up, make some thin cuts. These cuts shouldn’t be very deep or else your fish might bake while cooking.
This method will make salmon skin crispy leaving inside meat soft and well done and further the marinade will soak into the wish finely.
So, make sure you don’t skip this step.
You might want to use a very sharp knife to slice the fish.
2. Rub some Cajun seasoning, salt, paprika and ginger garlic paste all over the fish and leave it for 15 minutes.
3. Heat little olive oil in the pan and cook salmon with skin side down.
Cook the fish for 5 minutes on medium heat with closed lid.
Flip the fish after 5 minutes and cook the other side for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Serve the fish with some lime zest or lime juice for some tangy flavor.
