Hey Chefs! Here’s a quick video of making blackened seasoning. It’s a wonderful dry-rub for steak, chicken, pork and salmon.
Ingredients:
1 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1/2 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper or Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
1/2 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
MIX WELL
Notes: Pat the dry seasoning into the protein. Works much better than sprinkling.
