Note: This recipe can be serve with steamed rice, roti or naan
Ingredients:
Taro roots – some pieces
Tomatoes – 2- 3 pieces
Garlic – 2 pieces
Paprika Powder – ½ teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Black Pepper – as per preference
Green Chillies – optional
Oil – any preferred oil (I always prefer to use olive oil in most of my recipes)
Salt – to taste
Peel off taro and cut into slices(just like how you cut potato fries).
Taro can be so slimy, to clean , pour enough quantity of salt and rub it for about 1 minute , wash properly and dry with paper towel.
Pour some oil into a pan and fry taro until you achieve medium softness.
On the other side, bring skillet, fry garlic until brown , add in tomatoes and fry until soft. Add fried taro. Add salt and spices to taste.
Simmer for 3-5 minutes and serve!
