Paprika Schnitzel, a very rich and hearty dish to serve over rice!

RECIPE
ONIONS
Slice 3 onions really thin and fry gently in
2 tablespoons bacon fat or oil till they are soft, stirring occasionally
Remove from the pan and stir in:
1 cup sour cream or natural cream with juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 or 2 tablespoons mild, strong or smoked paprika powder
PREPARE THE SLICES OF VEAL
First coat with
1 or 2 beaten eggs with
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1 clove minced garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
THEN COAT WITH fine bread crumbs
BROWN the breaded cutlets on both sides in the fat or oil
PLACE ALL TOGETHER, layering the onions and cream with the meat
COVER and cook on low heat for 30 minutes
SERVE over rice with
Some fresh cream and
A few capers
ENJOY!
