Dynamite Shrimp is one of the favourite things to order when we go out to a Japanese restaurant, usually as a side dish or an appetizer. It’s surprisingly easy to make right at home! This shrimp is dredged in flour and then batter, then fried and coated with a spicy mayo sauce.
Ingredients:
For Prawn Coating:
Prawns – 1/2 Kg
Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Paprika – 1/2 tsp
Garlic Powder – 1/2 tsp
Egg – 1 Qty
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Mayo Sauce – 3/4 Cup
Sweet Chilli Sauce – 1/4 Cup
Sriracha or Hot Sauce – 2 tbsp
For Flour Coating:
All-Purpose Flour – 3/4 Cup
Corn Flour – 1/2 Cup
Garlic Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Note: You can substitute Paprika with Chilli powder (1/2 tsp)
