Chilli Chicken recipe by Chilli Chef.
This video is an easy to follow English narrated step by step guide to making a lovely tasty Chilli Chicken. This is a Indo-Chinese fusion appetiser great as a starter or on a buffet. All the required ingredients can be purchased from your local supermarket or a local speciality Asian store.
Ingredients for this recipe;
800grams Boneless Chicken Breast
5 tablespoons Cornflour
1.5 tablespoons Plain Flour
2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
2 large Onions
2 large Red Peppers
5 cloves Garlic
1.5 tablespoons of Ginger/Garlic paste
3 Indian Chillies
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
1 teaspoon Crushed Black Pepper
2 chopped Spring Onions
5 tablespoons Soy Sauce (low sodium)
3 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
2 tablespoons Chilli Sauce
2 teaspoons White Vinegar
1 Egg beaten
1 handful Coriander
Boneless Chicken Breast can be substituted for boneless thighs.
Kashmiri Red Powder can be substituted for Paprika.
Try and get low sodium Soy Sauce or Low Fat Soy Sauce.
Make sure the Chilli Sauce is not flavoured and just plain Chilli Sauce.
Serves 4-6 People
