How to make a crunchy and delicious buttermilk chicken.
Ingredients
– chicken
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1 tsp ground black pepper
– Tbsp corn starch
– 1/2 cup all purpose flour
– 1 egg
– 1sazon or 1 tsp smoked paprika
– cooking oil for deep frying
– 1/2 cup flour for coating
– In a large bowl, place the chicken, add salt, ground black pepper, buttermilk and mixed.
– Add corn starch, egg, flour and sazon or smoked paprika.
– In ziplock bag, add 1/2 cup all purpose flour, now you can add the chicken mixture in a bag, shake the bag until all pieces are completely coated.
– Place the coated chicken in a separated place.
– Heat oil for deep frying.
– Drop the coated chicken one by one in a hot oil.
– Fry 3-5 minutes on medium heat until golden and brown.
– Remove from the heat and serve.
