I had a chance to taste a veggie burger. The taste was fairly good so I thought of trying to make a homemade veggie burger. I found a recipe from sallysbaking addiction and replace some ingredients because some are not available at the time I made this burger. Below are the ingredient. Ingredients:
2 cans black beans
3/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper (since I dont have a bell pepper at that time I replaced it with 1/4 cup Pimiento and it still works)
1 cup finely chopped yellow onion
3 gloves garlic, finely chopped (about 1 tbs)
1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder (recipe call for 1 tsp. but i’m worried it will be too spicy for me)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 cup bread crumbs or oat flour ( i used oatmeal but I blend it to have fine texture)
1/2 cup feta cheese
2 eggs
2 tbs BBQ sauce
salt and pepper
