Fah’s Ultimate Channel brought you the ultimate recipe for Smoked Achari chicken. Made with homememade spices and with a smoke of a coal, which gives it a bbq touch.
Ingredients:
Marination:
1. 1 kg chicken curry pieces
2. 1 table spoon ginger garlic paste
3. 1 table spoon vinegar
4. 1 table spoon salt
Spices for Green chillies:
1. 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
2. 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
3. Half teaspoon Nigella (Kalonji) seeds
4. 3-4 dried red chillies
5. 1 table spoon Cumin seeds
6. 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
7. 1 table spoon Chat masala
8. 1 teaspoon Mango (Amchur) Powder
Directions:
Take 4 Green chillies Take all the spices for green chillies mentioned above and grind them. Mix all the spices in vinegar to make a paste. Make a slight deep cut to chillies and remove the seeds and stuff the chillies with spices. Now Marinate the chicken for 20 min. Take a Pan and pour 1 cup Ghee or vegetable oil. Fry the chicken in the oil until it gets light brown. Now add 1 teaspoon paprika powder, 1 teaspoon salt and half teaspoon Turmeric. Also add 1 teaspoon of the spices made for green chillies.
Now take 5 Tomatoes and grind them to make a paste. After the chicken becomes light brown, add the paste. Put a lid on top on low flame for 5- 10 min, in order for tomatoes and the spices cook properly. Take the lid off after 10 min and add a container, in that container add a coal to it, pour some oil for smoke to release. Leave the Coal in the Chicken for 5 min, don’t forget to take on the lid again after putting in the coal. After 5 min, take off the coal and mix the Chicken well. Your chicken is ready to serve.
