INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs Chicken Wings
3 tbsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp Seasoning Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepepr
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
SAUCE:
1 cup BBQ Sauce
1/4 Hot Sauce
1 tbsp Red Chili Flakes
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
(mix in a large glass or metal bowl)
INSTRUCTIONS:
•Cut drummettes from flats. (You can remove the wing tip if you prefer
•Place wings in large mixing bowl and season with 3 tbsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 tsp Seasoning Salt, 1 tsp Black Pepper, 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder, 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepepr, and 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
•Mix seasoning throughout the wings and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes
•In a 5 quart pot add 2 quarts of oil, bring the temperature up to medium high, drop the wings in carefully and let them cool 15 – 20 minutes. Midway through the cook time stir the wings to ensure an even cook.
•Remove wings from the oil and let the oil drain
•Add the wings to the large bowl with the sauce and toss them around until they are fully coated with sauce
•You can serve at this point however if you want the sauce to be toasted in, place the wings on a pan with a rack and have your oven broiler set to high. Place the wings in the oven for 2-3 minutes (keep your eye on them so they are to your liking). Flip them over and let them get toasted on the other side and you are ready to serve.
