Beer Cheese Soup –
14 oz chicken broth
1 cup beer
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
6oz American cheese
6oz Sharp Cheddar
1 cup milk
1 tsp paprika
Combine broth, beer, onion and garlic in slow cooker and cook on low 4 hours. Turn to high and stir in cheeses, milk and paprika. Cook another 45 minutes or until cheese is completely melted
Sweet Potato Chicken –
3 chicken breasts, cut into halves
2/3 cup plus 3 tbsp flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp orange zest
Combine 2/3 cup flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl and coat chicken. Place sweet potato pieces at the bottom of slow cooker and top with chicken. In another bowl, combine soup, orange juice, brown sugar, orange zest and 3 tbsp flour and mix well. Pour soup mixture over chicken and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4
