Today we are going to make the delicious restaurant style Kadhai Paneer at home.
Kadhai Paneer Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 tsp – Cumin seeds
1 Black Cardamom
4 Cloves
2-4 Whole Black Pepper
1 Small piece Cinnamon
4 tsp Fresh Creame
250 g Paneer ( Cottage Cheesze)
3 Medium size Onion
3 Medium size Tomato
1 Capsicum
1 – 2 Bay Leaves
2 – 4 tsp Ghee / Oil
6 pcs of Garlic
2 Green Chillies
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/3 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 pinch Black Pepper Powder’1/3 Red Chilli Powder
1/3 Paprica Powder
1 inch Garlic
1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
RECIPE
1. Add 2 tsp of ghee/oil in hot frypan
2. Add 1 tsp Cumin seeds, 1 black cardamom, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole black pepper, 2 cloves, 1 bayleaf and saute it for 1 minute
3. Add garlic, ginger and green chilies to it and cook it for 1 min.
4. Now add 2 diced onion and fry till it get soft.
5. Add 3 diced tomatoes and cook it for 5 – 7 minutes in medium flame and take out the material in dish and let it cool down for few minutes.
6. Again add 1 tsp of ghee and add 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves and 2 whole black pepper.
7. Add onion and fry it till it get soft and then add capsicum and saute it well.
8. Meanwhile it is frying blend the cool mixture into fine paste and add this paste to pan and cook it for 5 minutes.
9. Now add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/3 turmeric powder, 1/3 red chili powder, 1/3 paprika powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder, and pinch of black pepper powder and mix it well.
10. Add dry fenugreek leaves ( Optional )
11. Add 4 tsp of fresh cream to it and cook it for 2 minutes
12. Now add cubes of paneer, mix it well, close the lid of the vessel and cook it for 5 minutes
13. Kadhai paneer is ready to serve.
