Zesty Oven Baked Chicken Wings
Makes 8 appetizer servings

Football and chicken wings go hand-in-hand, and there are none more crave-worthy (or simple!) than this zesty version with a tangy Greek-yogurt dipping sauce. Bake the wings in your oven for fans in your living room, or cook on the grill at your tailgating party.

½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp chili powder
½ tsp coarse kosher salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp canola oil
2 lb chicken wings

Dipping Sauce
1 (5.3 oz) container plain non-fat Greek yogurt
½ tsp lime zest (from 1 small lime)
2 tsp lime juice
1 tsp honey
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
¼ tsp garlic granules
¼ tsp coarse kosher salt

In a large bowl, combine cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper. Toss to combine, then add oil and stir to make a paste

Add chicken wings and toss to coat with the spice paste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or up to overnight.

Meanwhile, prepare the dipping sauce. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, zest, juice, honey, jalapeño, garlic and salt. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spread chicken on a baking sheet and bake until cooked through and lightly browned around the edges, about 40 minutes. Transfer to a platter and serve alongside dipping sauce.
