Finger-Lickin’ Spicy Sweet Potatoes!!
This is a nutritious alternative to French fries, but I swear to you, they are highly addictive (YUMMY). Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of fiber, potassium, vitamin C, and K, just to name a few.
For this recipe you will need:
2 peeled sweet potatoes, chopped (peeling is optional)
3-4 tbsp olive oil
1-2 tsp salt & pinch of pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder & sprinkle onion powder (onion is optional)
Sprinkle of dried parsley & oregano (any dried herbs will work!)
Chili flakes to your liking
Paprika for color
Fresh parsley for garnish
Begin by preheating your oven to 450°F
In a bowl, toss your chopped sweet potatoes with olive oil
Season with salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, dried parsley & oregano, chili flakes and paprika
Mix until evenly coated and spread on a baking tray
Bake for about 20min, flipping them around at the 10min mark
Watch closely for the remaining 10min (they might not need that long), once they are browned they are ready!
Serve with a pinch of salt, and fresh parsley to garnish
