Need some quick vegan chickpea recipes? Looking for EASY vegan chickpea recipes? Out for some good vegan recipes for kids? Well, I’ve got the best healthy vegan nuggets recipe right here for ya. This is also a low calorie vegan recipe – if that’s what you’re into. I joined that Noom app and so I’ve been making up vegan Noom recipes lately. They’re all delicious.

Sometimes it’s hard to know how to make chickpeas taste good, so here we go!

How to make vegan nuggets:

Drain and rinse 1 full can of chickpeas (save the water for cheese sauce another day!)
Add them to a food processor with 1/2 a chopped onion
Add 1/4 cup of oats
Add 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Add 1.5 – 2 tsp each of onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika and just a dash of turmeric (forgot to tell you about the turmeric in the video!)
Add salt and pepper to your preference.
Blend them until mostly smooth, leaving a few chunks is better
Shape into nugget sizes. For this full recipe I did 12 pieces.
Dip into a bowl of plant milk, shake off the excess
Coat with breadcrumbs in another bowl. (Panko, homemade, regular bread crumbs or mulched up cereal like corn flakes.)

Air Fryer for 18 minutes at 360 C, flipping every 6 minutes
15 minutes in the oven at 360 C, even better if you do them on an oven-safe rack for air flow
