The goulash (hun.: “Pörkölt”), especially the beef goulash, ist THE classic dish of the Hungarian cuisine. I used ingredients which are easily available in Germany – that’s why I did not use Hungarian wine, because Hungarian wine is rarely available in German wineshops. Enjoy the cooking!

500 g Rindfleisch
1 Tomate
1 ungarische Gemüsepaprika
2 Zwiebeln
3 kleine getrocknete Chillies
2 EL ungarische Paprikapulver (süß)
0,1 l Rotwein, trocken
Öl, Salz, Wasser

Ingredients:
500 g Beef
1 Tomato
1 Hungarian Yellow Wax Pepper
2 Onions
3 small, dried Chillies
2 tablespoon Hungarian Pepper powder (sweet)
0,1 l Redwine, dry
Oil, Salt, Water
