Turkish Tray kebab || How to make Baked Turkish Tray kebab Recipe – RKC
Tray kebab is probably the most delicious Turkish kebab. Turkish cuisine is one of my favorite and I love most of their delicacy.

Ingredients
* Ground beef or lamb 2 lb
* Onions 1
* Garlic cloves 5
* Red bell pepper 1
* Parsley 1 bunch
* 2 tsp red pepper flakes
* 1 tsp cumin powder
* 1 tsp pepper powder
* 1 tsp paprika powder
* Salt to taste
* Olive oil 1 tbsp
For Topping
* 1 potato, thinly sliced(optional)
* 1 tomato, cut into wedges
* 1/2 pointy (or bell) pepper, sliced
For the tomato sauce
* 2 tbsp tomato paste
* 3 tbsp water
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* Salt and ground pepper to taste
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.
3. In a chopper, add onion, garlic, red peppers and parsley and grind to a coarse mix. Squeeze out the extra moisture.
4. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with blended mix and all other spices. Knead well with your hands for a few minutes, until all the ingredients combined and spices blended.
5. Mix the tomato paste, water in a small bowl, season with salt and pepper powder.
6. Grease a round baking tray with a little olive oil and spread little tomato sauce mixture and the meat mixture onto the tray. With using your hands, press the meat and spread evenly retaining the round shape. Make sure the spread goes around the edges, once cooked, the meat will shrink an inch or two.
7. Slice the spreaded meat mixture into wedges before baking. Place the sliced potatoes(optional), slices of pointy (or bell) peppers,and tomatoes over the top of each wedge of the meat mixture.
8. Pour the tomato mixture over the meat and vegetables.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes until the meat and vegetables cooked well. Serve hot with rice.
