In this video I am going to show you how to make newyork style cart food halal guys chicken and rice, with homemade white and red sauce.

INGREDIENTS
For Marination:
Chicken Thighs- 6 Pcs
Garlic Paste- 2 Tbsp
Yogurt- 2 Tbsp
Vinegar- 1 Tbsp
Lemon Juice- 1 Tbsp
Olive Oil- 1 Tbsp
Black Pepper- 1 Tsp
Paprika- 1/2 Tsp
Chili Powder- 1/2 Tsp
Garlic Powder- 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Powder- 1/4 Tsp
Onion Powder- 1/4 Tsp
Turmeric- 1/4 Tsp
Adobo Seasoning- 1 Tsp
Salt- 1 Tsp

White Sauce: I m going to make
Sour Cream or Yogurt- 1/2 Cup
Mayonnaise- 1/3 Cup
Black Pepper- 1/2 Tsp
Parsley- 1 Tsp
Vinegar- 1/2 Tsp
Lemon Juice- 1 Tsp
Sugar – 1/4 Tsp
Salt- 1/4 Tsp
Cold Water- 2 Tbsp

Red Chili Sauce:
Tomatoes- 2
Garlic- 2 Cloves
Red Chili Flakes- 1 Tbsp
Cayenne Pepper- 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice- 1 Tsp
Vinegar – 1/2 Tsp
Salt- 1/4 Tsp

Golden Rice:
Basmati Rice- 2 Cups
Chicken Broth or Water- 2.5 Cups
Olive Oil or Butter- 2 tbsp
Cardamom- 1
Cloves- 2 to 3
Onion- 1/2 Cup
Garlic Paste- 2 Tbsp
Salt- 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder- 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder- ½ Tsp

Instruction:
1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients listed in the marination. Let it marinate for a minimum of 2 hours. If you have time marinate it overnight.
2. For a White sauce: In a bowl add all the ingredients listed under the white sauce. Mix it well and store it in the fridge till you are ready to serve. The more in the refrigerator gives a nice flavor.
3. For Red sauce: In a blender jar add all the ingredients and blend it till you get a fine paste. Store it in the fridge till you are ready to serve. The more in the refrigerator leaves a nice flavor to the sauce.
4. To make a Golden Rice: Turn on Sauté mode, add Oil or butter to the inner pot. Once its hot add cardamom and cloves, then add onion sauté it for a couple of minutes, and then add garlic paste. saute it till the raw smell goes off. Then add salt, cumin powder, and turmeric, give it a mix, cancel the sauté mode add rice (Wash and soak it for 20 minutes), broth, or water. Close the lid and make sure that the vent is in sealing position and cook in high pressure for 5 minutes and do NPR.
5. You can cook the chicken in the air fryer, grill, oven, or instant pot itself.
6. To cook Chicken in an Air fryer: Temperature: 400°F and Time: 10 minutes.
7. To Cook chicken in Instant pot: In a sauté mode add 3 tbsp of oil, once its hot add chicken and roast it for one side. Close the lid and cook it for 2 minutes and do a quick release. It will be watery, sauté it till the water is dried.
8. Cut the chicken into pieces. Plate the Chicken and rice with some lettuce and tomato salad. Add some White sauce and red sauce to it.
9. Enjoy eating this New York-style halal cart Chicken over rice at home.
