A homemade spice rub is the PERFECT gift for a Dad who loves to cook. A spice rub can be used on anything from pork and chicken to burgers and steaks! This rub will keep fresh in a jar for months, so it’s sure to become Dad’s pantry staple.
You’ll need:
– 2 tsp of cayenne pepper
– 2 tsp of dried thyme
– 1 tbs of garlic powder
– ⅓ cup of brown sugar
– ¼ cup of paprika
– 2 tsp of dried mustard
– Salt and pepper to taste
– An old washed jar
– A snap-lock bag
Optional:
– Twine and a gift tag to decorate
Method:
1. Combine all the ingredients in the bag
2. Shake the bag to combine well
3. Cut the corner of the bag and pour the contents into the jar
4. Decorate the jar with twine and a gift tag (so Dad knows it’s all his)

Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again.
Our services and programs are made specifically to help children 0 -13 who are dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum or dad. We are there for them through the daily ups and downs of cancer, providing opportunities to laugh, make friends and have new adventures.
By creating positive memories, Camp Quality helps change the cancer story for kids and their families: in-hospital, at home, at school and away from it all.
In 2019 Camp Quality raised funds to ensure over 7,500 kids who were registered for our services and programs had the chance to just be kids again. We do not receive any substantial financial support from the Australian, State or Territory Governments. Instead we rely almost entirely on the generosity of everyday Australians and corporate partners to help us provide services and programs free of charge.
Camp Quality is proud to be Australia’s most reputable children’s cancer charity for children 0-13 years old.
