Meet my vegan steak, a revolutionary plant-based solution for vegans and carnivores alike. It’s a steak made from plants that mimic the look and texture of beef, pork, and chicken.
Steak Recipe
300g Seitan
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 Onion
1 tsp Cardamom powder or 8 cardamom seeds
2 Bay leaves, big
1 tbsp Paprika
4 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp thyme
100ml White wine
Slice the seitan according to steak measurements and presentation.
The important step in this recipe is beating the meat. We have to beat our meat with the meat beater/tenderizer. You should take about 5 minutes beating that bad boy.
Add all the ingredients together. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
Now let’s make the recipe.
250g Steak
1 tsp Thyme, fresh
5 cloves of Garlic, minced
Salt
Olive oil
½ Vegetable stock
1 cup of water
50ml Tomato puree
Get the pan nice and hot.
Add the olive oil. Wait for the oil to heat. add the onions and garlic. Let it caramelize
Add the steak and push it down inside the center with the fingers to be sure the entire steak is touching the bottom of the pan.
Make sure to flip the steak only once.
Add the tomato sauce and thyme.
Add the water. Let it cook for 6 more minutes.
I love my steak with roasted potatoes, white rice, and green beans or peas.
