Hell and thank you for stopping by. Today’s video will be on the classic Red beans. I absolutely love this recipe and it’s a great leftover meal as well as perfect for the winter. I did this in a slow cooker but I have done it on the stove as well if I’ve started late but since I started the night before I was right on time to put it on before it was time for me to hit sheets. Items used
slow cooker
2 smoked hamhocks
enough liquid to cover 1 inch above beans
16 oz Camilla Red beans
1/2 celery stalk
1/2 sweet onion
1/2 green bell pepper
18/2 red bell pepper
1/2 tsp of onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt
1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika
1 tsp of granulated chicken bouillon
3 bay leaves
season to your taste
