This week’s dish is one my mom has made my entire life. She adds sausage with all the other ingredients.
Smothered Okra Recipe
Salt
Pepper
Tex Joy (or whatever all purpose seasoning you like)
Cumin
Oregano
Smoked Paprika
Basil
Red, yellow, orange bell peppers
1 jalapeno
White onion
Okra
Blue Crabs
Tomato Sauce
Tomatoes
Shrimp
Olive Oil
White Vinegar (2 tablespoons, add more if your okra is still slimy)
Next week we’re making fried crabs and Po’Boys.
