Vegan Sisig Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 kg TVP (Washed and Dried)
5 pcs Large Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
1/4 kg Chunk Gluten
4 pcs Large White Onions
5 pcs Large Green chili
5 pcs Large Red Chili
2 tsp White Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
4 cloves Garlic
1/4 cup Calamansi extract
1/2 cup Soy sauce
1 Cup Pinagbabaran ng mushrooms
4 tbs Vegan Mayo
1 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Roasted Garlic
INSTRUCTIONS:
• Wash the TVP with hot water and squeeze. Dry it in the pan with slow fire.
• Heat a pan over high heat and pour oil and sauté garlic, gluten, and onion until onion has become soft and translucent.
• Combine all ingredients: mushroom, soy sauce, white pepper, onion powder, green chili, red chili, TVP, pinagbabaran ng mushrooms, roasted garlic, calamansi juice, and vegan mayo. Mix well
• Cook until sauce has reduced and dried up, about 15-20 minutes. Add some seasoning, smoked paprika, sugar, black pepper, and salt to taste.
• Lower heat, add some white onion, green chili, and red chili
