Ingredients
For the rice:
Long Grain Basmati Rice 2 1/2 cups
Salt 1 1/2 tsp ( or as per taste)
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
garlic powder 1 tsp
Paprika 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Butter 4 tsp
Kewra water 1/2 tsp (optional)
Boiling hot water 4 1/2 cup
For the fish:
Thick salmon pieces 1 kg
Salt 1/4 tsp or as per taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Roughly chopped lettuce for garnishing
Ingredients For the white sauce:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Yogurt 2 tbsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
A pinch of paprika
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
Onion powder 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder
1 tsp
Brown sugar
1&1/2 tsp
Parsley
1/4 tsp
Oregano
1/4 tsp
Vinegar
1 tsp
Lemon juice
1/2 tsp
Method
for the rice:
Soak the rice for half an hour.
Melt butter in a deep pan.
Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, paprika and kewra water ( optional).
Add the soaked rice.
Put boiling water to cook rice on medium high flame. Then cover the pan and reduce the flame until the rice are completely cooked.
For the white sauce:
Combine all the ingredients of the sauce together.
For the fish:
Heat some oil in a grilling pan. Spread the salmon pieces one by one and season with salt and black pepper well. After 2 minutes, flip the pieces and season again. After 2 min, drizzle soy sauce on top and turn off the heat.
To serve:
On the bed of rice, spread the salmon pieces, roughly chopped lettuce, drizzle the sauce and Sriracha ( optional)
