How to make Prawn Biryani Recipe, it is simple to do, a mouth watering prawn biryani recipe, i’m sure you gonna love it, especially those seafoods lovers like me, keep on watching guy’s,, let’s get started.
We need:
11/2 lbs. Medium Prawn no shells, tails, and deveined
170g plain yoghurt
1 sachet or 50g Suhana Biryani Mix
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
1 small onion chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp chop coriander leaves
2 tbsp chop dill
10 cups water
4 cups basmati rice
1 tbsp salt
5 pcs whole cardamom
3 stick cinnamon
3 pcs bay leaf
5 pcs cloves
4 pcs star anise
TOPPINGS
Fried onions
Mint leaves
Pinch of saffron soak in 1/4 cup hot water
Preparations:
1~ combine yoghurt, biryani mix in a bowl mix together then add prawn mix them well cover and marinate for 1 hour. keep aside
2~ heat oil in a pan then saute garlic, ginger, onion mix together until slightly brown in color then add marnated prawn stir them together let boiled, covered
3~ let the water of prawn comes out then add cumin, coriander, paprika and turmeric powder mix it keep on stirting and add chop coriander, chop dill mix and continue cooking until the water all absorbed and the prawn comes tender and theres a little sauce lift.close the flame
4 ~ wash the rice and soak for 30 minutes
5 ~ Put water on a casserole then add the spices, salt, let boiled
6~ once the water is boiling add the rice let cook just half cooked we will make layer for this recipe
7~when the rice cook strain
8~ take another pot then spread half of the rice on the bottom of the pot then put the prawn on the middle, then topped with the remaining half of rice and pour soaked saffron and sprinkle fried onions on top cover and cook in a low heat for 30 minutes until the rice is completely cooked
9 ~ Served and spread more fried onion and mint leaves on top
