At times, we don’t feel like eating our regular Indian Masala food so we search for something which is easy and yet tasty and healthy. This is one such recipe. Try out and let me know.
INGREDIENTS-
2 boiled and mashed potatoes.
1/2 cup of defrosted corn kernels
1/4 cup of cornflour
salt to taste
Crushed pepper
1 cup of grated cheese
SAUCE-
1 tsp of soya sauce
1 tsp of vinegar
1/4 cup of water.
FOR THE CHEESE SAUCE-
1/2 OF SLICED ONION
1 tsp of thyme
1 tsp of paprika
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of cream
1 slice of cheese
1 tsp of butter
PREPARATION-
1. In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes, corn kernels, 1/2 cup of cornflour, crushed pepper, salt and mix all the ingredients together.
2. Form cutlets by 50 gms of the mixture and add a little bit of cheese as fillling.
3. In a separate bowl, add 1 tsp each of vinegar and soya sauce and 1/4 cup of water and mix it well.
4. In a pan, shallow fry the cutlets in 1 tsp of oil. Add the sauce mixture once done.
5. In a separate pan, heat 1 tsp of butter add sliced onion, thyme, paprika, milk and cream. Bring it to a boil, add cheese slice and switch of the flame once it thickens.
6. In a baking bowl, add the cutlets and drizzle the cream sauce over it. Add some grated cheese and crushed pepper. Bake @140*c for 15-20 mins.
