This is the perfect side dish for any meat-based meals!INGREDIENTS
Pumpkin
Bay leaf
Salt
Garlic
500ml vinegar
1l of water
Oregano
Paprika
Olive Oil
METHOD
Peel and cut the pumpkin into thin slices.
Place in a colander with salt. Add a pot of water to weigh it down and let it drain overnight. Pour water and vinegar into a pot, add a bay leaf, and wait for it to boil.
Add the pumpkin slices.
Wait for it to boil and leave for 3 more minutes. Remove from the heat and strain.
Fill a glass jar with pumpkin and in between and add slices of garlic, oregano, chili powder, salt, and fill with oil.
