Paprika Chicken Stir-Fry Chinese Style
Welcome to Sleaford Chinese Cooking Class. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
400g Chicken Breasts (cut into thin strips)
3 Cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
40g Coriander (roughly chopped)
1 Onion (cut into strips)
1½ Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Ground Coriander Seeds
â…“ Tsp Ground White Pepper
Salt to Taste
Method:
1. Place chicken strips in a bowl, add paprika, pepper, ground coriander, 1 Tbsp of oil and a pinch of salt, mix well and leave to marinate for an hour
2. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in the wok over high heat
3. Add the onion and garlic, stir-fry for a minute
4. Add the chicken and stir fry for 8 minutes until cooked through
5. Add the coriander and pinch of salt, stir, transfer onto a dish and serve with rice
