When you need your wings fix, try this delicious oven baked wings Nandos style.
Ingredients
Marinade
1 onion
2 red pepper
2 sweet baby peppers
3 Birdseye chillies
6 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon paprika
Juice of one lemon and a little zest
3/4 tablespoon salt or to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fresh coriander
1 tablespoon of fresh thyme
2 teaspoon sugar
Method
Blend a hand ingredients together to make the marinade and sauce.
Marinade the chicken wings in the sauce and let it marinade for a couple of hours. Overnight is best.
The remaining sauce can be boiled and cooled down to use as a sauce.
Stick the wings in the oven on 180c for one hour. After 45 minutes, turn them over. Brush some sauce over them.
Then after an hour, broil (oven grill) for around 3 to 5 minutes to char.
